Each day we live with the threat of potential disasters. Extreme temperature, violent storms, drought, flood, hurricane, tornado, chemical spill, nuclear accident, fire, transport accident, lost animals, dog or wild animal attack, terrorist attack, war. The list goes on.
When a disaster occurs wouldn’t it ease your mind to know that you have a contingency plan in place?
This document is not designed to provide a recipe for livestock disaster management. Its intent is to start the contemplation process to make you and your operation more resilient so you can survive better, recover faster, and possibly mitigate future risks.
